Brilliante award

I have just received this wonderful award from Kim, over at Oakmoon blogspot, who has a wonderful blog, warm, funny and inspiring. Go check her out. : http://oakmoon.blogspot.com/

Being gormless, I have managed to copy the award to the side panel, but for the life of me can't copy it to here. You will just have to do an eyes left . . .

This award is to be passed on to people whose blogs I enjoy and return to again and again.

It comes with rules and they are:
  1. The winner can put the logo on his/her blog
  2. Link to the person you received your award from
  3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs for an award
  4. Put links to those blogs on yours
  5. Leave a message on the blogs of the people you have nominated.
So those I nominate are:

1. Kelli, at There is no place like home - http://kellishouse.blogspot.com/,
and I only wish I had a fraction of her creativity and tidyness. She has such a pretty home and home educates her family. I take my hat off to her (and wish I lived next door - she makes such SCRUMMY things!)

2. Snowgoosey, at http://snowgoosey.blogspot.com/,
whose blog reminds me of the Dorset I left behind, and who visits all my favourite places.

3. A fellow import to Wales, though she lives on the side of a mountain, and I don't! Visit Elizabeth's blog at http://welshhillsagain.blogspot.com/

4. Rowan, over at http://www.circleoftheyear.blogspot.com/
who visits some wonderful places, takes wonderful pictures, and who is drawn to the still room, as am I . . .

5. Greentwinsmummy aka GTM, over at A Life Full of Blessings, http://greentwinsmummyasimplelife.blogspot.com/
who is ever-inspiring and has two wonderfully-amusing little girls who are all enjoying country living to the full.

6. Niki, at http://nostalgiaatthestonehouse.blogspot.com/
where I lurk and look at the beautiful things she buys and makes, with deep envy!

7. Tracy at http://cupcakesathome.blogspot.com/
where I also lurk. Anyone who has Whippets (especially such lovely dogs as she has) is Top Notch in my book!

Hi Jennie

Congratulations on your award, and thanks for your comment on my blog. I still have about 20 tools left to clean but I'll get there ... eventually!

It's been a pleasure to browse through some of your posts and I'll pop back to read more as time permits.

awww thanks BB! Thats really kind :o) I have just spent ages reading Kellis blog lol so will copy the award over to mine etc tomorrow, wow her blogs fab isnt it!
I love reading your blog, its full of history & folklore which I love. I think blogs have filled in the gap left from where the handing down of tales verbally from family to family went, only th eblog family is HUGE!

There are so many inspirational blogs out there - makes you realize that You Are Not Alone in your interests.

Sue - glad you will come back - I'm always wittering! That plough plane was lovely btw. They made the simplest things with the greatest craftsmanship and pride, in the past.

Niki - your blog is a magnet for my daughter too, who is very keen on anything vintage, retro or chic - she collects costume jewellery and her favourite shops up at Sheffield are the Retro ones. She's had some beautiful clothes from them.

Debbie - I often have a huge baking session and freeze the extra cakes, pies etc. When I think of the awful things I made when I was learning to cook in my late teens, I am really impressed that I make edible food now!
