Just to go on with - I've had NO internet connection ALL AFTERNOON. Hiss and spit! I shall do a proper posting later (I hope).
This is the view from yesterday's walk up by old Isaac's place (he's now pushing up daisies in the chapel graveyard, bless him). Black Mountain is now white . . . though thankfully things are thawing a bit here now and we had rain rather than snow today.

Oh the frustration when power and internet goes, but a lovely pic nevertheless; I must look it up on the map. I'm moving on to icicles in a minute - haven't seen any for years.
Like your snow pics - I have been going mad with my camera as well!
Ohhhh snow we had 44 degrees(111degrees?) yesteray and fires are all over the state,We are having huge bushfire threats and extream temps,Buckled train tracks so snow oh snow...Yes please
I like that your landscape has hedgerows. The farmland where I grew up had them--lovely tangles of small trees, grapevine, prickly shrubs. They were eventually all grubbed out to make for more efficient crop tending. Sensible, perhaps, but not as nice a view.
