Having said that, he has used some WONDERFUL phrases, but just all out of kilter.Bovey Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05798594086901897654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3639892272013528432.post-17982301690632103462009-03-10T16:01:00.000+00:002009-03-10T16:01:00.000+00:00Beautiful words--images that you can almost grasp ...Beautiful words--images that you can almost grasp and then they slither off. Do you suppose it made any sense somewhere in his drink-addled mind, or was he merely wandering? So often when I read poetry I get rather cross--must we struggle and delve for some obscure "meaning?"Morning's Minionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912356455981434029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3639892272013528432.post-65810723063526007822009-03-10T15:54:00.000+00:002009-03-10T15:54:00.000+00:00I like some of his work - but this has wonderful i...I like some of his work - but this has wonderful imagery for me, but relatively little sense. I'm afraid I like (shock, horror!) nice rythmic Up the Airy Mountain, Down the Rushy Glen type stuff. Prose poetry and novels written without any punctuation or in the first person present just doesn't appeal to me.
