This is the view from yesterday's walk up by old Isaac's place (he's now pushing up daisies in the chapel graveyard, bless him). Black Mountain is now white . . . though thankfully things are thawing a bit here now and we had rain rather than snow today.
Oh the frustration when power and internet goes, but a lovely pic nevertheless; I must look it up on the map. I'm moving on to icicles in a minute - haven't seen any for years.
ReplyDeleteLike your snow pics - I have been going mad with my camera as well!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh snow we had 44 degrees(111degrees?) yesteray and fires are all over the state,We are having huge bushfire threats and extream temps,Buckled train tracks so snow oh snow...Yes please
ReplyDeleteI like that your landscape has hedgerows. The farmland where I grew up had them--lovely tangles of small trees, grapevine, prickly shrubs. They were eventually all grubbed out to make for more efficient crop tending. Sensible, perhaps, but not as nice a view.
